I had booked an appointment to get a check up and cleaning done 3 weeks prior to my appointment. When i arrived the front lady told me my insurance would be covering it all today. At the end of the services the lady had told me there was an amount left to pay. I was confused because when i arrived the lady had told me insurance was covering it. I had never paid anything in any of my prior visits at different dentist offices. The lady tried to argue with me telling me it was my insurance limit instead of telling me there office charges higher than the dental fee guide. This was the reason why i had an amount to pay at the end. The staff that worked on me did an amazing job and i was happy with the services however i would not return due to this dental office charging higher than the recommended dental guide. The way it was communicated to me could have been more honest and upfront when i arrived for my appointment

I’ve now had 3 negative experiences at this dental office. One time when I had a filling done, I went home with a considerable amount of pain. It didn’t seem normal.. went back a week or 2 later and apparently the filling had an air bubble in it. Super rare ? But had to have it redone. Second unpleasant experience, I had an old filling redone, and the edge of the tooth was so jagged that it would shred floss. The dentist ‘tried’ to fix it there but didn’t really. I had to go back yet again and have her file it down and make it smoother. Third unpleasant experience happened during my last cleaning. I have never had such a painful cleaning in my life. The dental hygienist was stabbing my gums with the metal tool and when I asked her if she could be more dental she told me I had to floss more. I actually floss every day. Then she ended up pinching my lip between her and and my teeth and it hurt so much I had tears run down my face. She didn’t apologize and was rude and had a poor attitude towards me. I officially made the decision to switch dentists after this. (Also as a side note, when I called the office to tell them about my experience with the dental hygienist, I was informed that she was a ‘temp’ hygienist). Ironically I have seen this person there before but as a dental assistant. So I’m not sure what that means.

I was very relieved. having had a few not great experiences elsewhere left me untrusting and frustrated. Everything from the girls at the front to the wonderful hygienist were a 10 The dentist was very calming. The work he did fixing improperly done fillings left me so happy. I can bite and eat properly for the first time in a couple years. I am very impressed and will continue to use this office.
